Hi I wonder if some one can help. I am trying to find records of the marriage of my 2 x Great Grandparents.
My Great Grandfather was born John Anderson to James Anderson & Mary Dignor in 1865 in Limerick, his brother Thomas was born to James Anderson & Mary Degnan circa 1870.
I believe from family sources the actual name of my 2 x Great Grandmother was Mary Degnan.
Anyway trying to locate marriage records in Ireland,England or Scotland is proving difficult for a James Anderson & Mary Degnan, Degnen, Dignor, Diegnan etc.
I am maybe wrongly assuming that if the first child was born in 1865 then maybe they married not long before, so I have been searching for the dates 1850-1870 to no avail so hopefully someone can help.
