Since a To-Do list is a profile can it ever be deleted?

Question

While playing with how to use the To-Do lists I created some lists that have no use; but since they are created as profiles it seems that they can't be deleted. Is this the case?

Chris, I once did a similar thing and created a free-space profile that was complete garbage.  Lianne was kind enough to point me to this link:

It worked for me, but it's not generally recommended, and my understanding is that it will only work if you are the only one who has ever edited the profile, and there are no other profiles that link to the one you want to delete.

Chris,

No you can not delete it and as it is a Free Space you can not merge it either.

You can change the display name.

Many managers use a Free Space as a "sandbox"  to test or to keep notes or links.

Thank you.  First I had seen it.  Why isn't this a link at the bottom of the Free Space?  It would have solved a lot of problems with some cemetery names.

As Chris Hampton pointed out above, Special:Delete should work unless others have edited the profile.

We do have a small [delete] link on free-space profile edit pages. We could add a [merge] link there too, FWIW.
