Malcolm Lewis. Can't find his verifiable parents. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Lewis-54997

Question

I have been trying to find a link between him and any parentage.

I have found census records listing Malcolm, but nothing listing him and parents.

I was told that his father is Abram Lewis 1803-1832, but I can't find any records whatsoever to get me past Malcolm.

Any ideas or clues would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find any birth/baptism records, but the Census says birth county was Oneida.

I hope this gives you a starting point.

Also his Civil War Registration gives two Lewis' from Oneida:

Thomas H born 1823 +/- 1 year

Calvin M born 1827 +/- 1 year
