Shouldn't Edward Lewes/Lewis, who came to Massachusetts as an infant about 1635, be PGM?

My ancestor Edward Lewes-8 was born in Staplehurst, Kent in 1634, the year his father George Lewis-467 emigrated and settled in Scituate.  Edward's mother Mary (Doggett-341) Lewis came over to join her husband sometime between 1635 and 1637, bringing Edward and his elder siblings Mary Lewis-10583, George Lewes-7, Thomas Lewis-91, and James Lewes-164 along.  This is discussed by Anderson in his entry for father George Lewis in The Great Migration, Vol. IV, pp. 281-284.  His mother and his three eldest siblings are designated as PGM.   So don't Edward (and his brother James Lewes-164) also qualify for the PGM category?

Yes, in my opinion.

The fact that Edward's younger brother was born in New England by 1637 indicates the family had migrated by 1640.  So I think he is eligible for the PGM project.

I would suggest you put the PGM project box on the profile and a PGM Leader will come along and add the project as a co-manager.

Good find, Halsey.
