My GG grandfather, Frederick Thomas Andrews was born in Loudoun County, Virginia in September of 1812. His father was either John Andrews or Anders OR William Andrews or Anders OR John William Andrews or Anders. The father came from England, Scotland, or Northern Ireland prior to 1812. There is a criminal record of the murder of a John Anders or Andrews In Loudoun County, Virginia in 1818 by a Hudson Overfield. There is an 1810 Census for a John Anders in Loudoun County, Virginia; There is an 1820 Census for a Susan Andrews(without husband)in Loudoun County, Virginia. A bible was remembered in the home of a James T. Andrews in 1952 that had the name John Anders in it and other relatives. It was lost over time and none of the others are known. I have matched a Kevin Anders through DNA and history as a descendant of the brother? of Frederick Andrews. I can do a Gedcom and a DNA results. We have no knowledge of the wife of the original Andrews/Anders. He is not buried in an active cemetery in Loudoun County. Kevin's ancestor, John Andrews, is buried in Macon County, Illinois and my ancestor, Frederick Andrews is buried in Muskingum County, Ohio although he once lived in Macon County. Trying to find our way back to England, Scotland or Wales. Trying to find any other relatives of the original Andrews/Anders. We are U-198 people which means probably Angles in Britain. If you have someone but is not U-198 the distance to them would be too great. If your ancestor is U-198 we have a chance.
