David McCallum (the actor) has a new WikiTree profile.

Do you remember Illya Kuryakin from The Man from U.N.C.L.E.? No? How about Lieutenant Commander Eric Ashley-Pitt in the 1963 flm 'The Great Escape'? (if you are English, that film was on every Christmas.  Christmas just wasn't Christmas without 'The Great Escape'...) 

How about Doctor Donald "Ducky" Mallard from NCIS?

McCallum also appeared in Colditz, Sapphire & Steel, Murder, She Wrote, seaQuest DSV, and Babylon 5.

My most favourite series of his was Sapphire and Steele!!  He was such a hunk in that series.

I did see some episodes of the Man from UNCLE on reruns but I was never into that series.

Nitpicking - how can David K. McCallum be the Jr. of David F. McCallum? Is that a British thing? Or am I missing something?

I wondered about that myself.  However, it seems that David McCallum Sr and David McCallum Jr actually used those suffixes.
