Has anyone ever traced their ancestors to Register Cliff? Or any of the other "recording areas"?

One of my great great uncles moved his entire family from Pennsylvania to Colorado in the 1860s so I searched but came up empty. It was a shot in the dark.

This site has a list of names from Register Cliff. Not sure how complete or accurate it is.
