Hello, I'm a descendant of a Dorcas Maddin/Madden who married Nathaniel Kirk in 1800 in Mason, Kentucky.  Nathaniel was still alive in the 1850 census and he was born in Maryland.  There are a few Maddin/Madden men in Mason Kentucky in this same time period who came from Frederick, Maryland.  Additionally I have several DNA matches whose only identifiable connection to me is the maddin surname and all trace back to John Madden and Anne Bennett.  I do realize that is not definite proof that any of them are actual descendants of Anne and John.  But it seems like a pretty good area to research and I'm pretty stuck, all I can find for them really is their marriage.  Any and all help very much appreciated.

Jeremiah Madden is the most notable Madden who is also in the area with Dorcas in the early 1800s.
