Potential problem with draft saves

Question

I've been doing a long edit on a profile, with 3-4 draft saves. After a long period of time it reached a point where the screen output did not match my keystrokes, and it was not resolved by toggling between insert and overwrite, so I performed a final save. I then went back to correct some of the nonsense results without a problem. Output has matched keystrokes since then.

No. It hasn't happened since.

I have seen similar issues, possibly on G2G, as well as on profiles.  I place the cursor where I want to make an editing change and instead of deleting a character where the cursor was placed or inserting a character where the cursor was, it is one keystroke away.  This looks similar to what the Changes Log showed occurred, I think.
