Hello,
My name is Janet Rowe from Sydney and I have done intermittent family history research on the Rowe family, my husband's ancestors who originated in Cornwall, the Lockhart family on my father's side, from East Lothian in Scotland, the Benjafield family from Wiltshire and the Ockenden family from East Sussex, both on my mother's side.
The last two names have had extensive research by others being relatively easy to follow because of less usual surnames.
My great grandfathers on my mother's side were Dr Harry Benjafield who emigrated to Tasmania and James Ockenden of Kensington who was also married to Harry's sister. My grandparents were Douglas Ockenden and Etta Benjafield who were actually first cousins.
