Biography
Giuseppe Onofrio Calogero Zito was born at Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, "heri," 4 April 1661, son of Francesco Zito and Caterina [Liotta]; and was baptized in Matrice parish, 5 April 1661; his sponsors were Antonino and Paolina Guarino.[1]
Clerico Joseph Zito, schettum, son of qm Francesco Zito and Caterina, married at Sciacca (Quartiere Matrice), 2 May 1706, by Reverendo Sacerdote Don Onofrio Dionisi, Capp.ni, Petra Federico, daughter of qm Antonio Federico and Rosalia.[2]
