Biography

Frances Zito migrated from Sicily to New York.

Francesca was born in Sicily in 1887 to Gaspare Zito and Rosa Prima ^[1]. She immigrated as a child, along with her family, to the U.S. and lived in Brooklyn. She can be seen in her father's household in the 1910 Census, working as a pants tailor in a shop.

Francesca was named for her maternal grandmother, Francesca Giambalvo. The remainder of her life requires research.
