Biography

Grace Zito migrated from Sicily to New York.

Grazia was born in Sicily in 1884 to Gaspare Zito and Rosa Prima ^[1]. She joined her family in emigration out of Sicily to Brooklyn New York, arriving around 1900 ^[2]. It is not known if she was married at the time -- she would have been 16. She eventually married a man with surname Puglisi ^[3].

Grazia was named for her paternal grandmother, Grazia Barbera. Needs more research to flesh out her life.
