Biography

When Catherine Zeller was born on 31 January 1854, in Stockbridge, Calumet, Wisconsin, United States, her father, Joseph Zeller, was 34 and her mother, Maria Amalia Hartmann, was 33. She married Horn before 1881. She died on 12 April 1930, in Neenah, Winnebago, Wisconsin, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Stockbridge, Calumet, Wisconsin, United States.

Married Mathias Casper in 1882. Married Sebastian Casper on Aug. 3, 1918 in Appleton WI.

MRS. KATHERINE CASPER passed away Saturday morning at Theda Clark hospital, Neenah, following an operation a few days previous. Mrs. Casper was Katherine Zeller before her marriage. She was born Jan 31, 1854. She was married the first time to Mr. Horn who only lived two years. She was later married to Math. Casper, who passed away in 1915. In 1920 she was again united in marriage to Sebastian Casper, who preceded her in death last year. Although having no children of her own she mothered a large family of step children of Math. Casper’s, five of whom survive. To these children she gave a mother’s love and care and received much love in return. She was a devout Catholic, a good neighbor and friend of many in her long life spent here. The funeral was held from St. Mary’s church with burial at St. Mary’s cemetery.[[1]]
