Nancy was born in 1786. She was the daughter of John Young and Abigail Howe. She passed away in 1860. ^[1]

Diary (1847-1853)-Kanesville, Iowa, 17 October 1847 to 5 January 1853. Author, a sister of Brigham Young. Weather, visits, dipped candles, wrote letters to children. Sixty fifth birthday, 1851. On Daniel's marker it reads: Daniel and Nancy Young Kent. Mormon Pioneers who moved to Chester Township from Kirtland in 1838. After Daniel's death, Nancy lived in Salt Lake City, where she died 24 September 1860, age 74, at the home of her brother Brigham Young. Erected by descendants in August 1998.
