David Wilson was believed to be born in 1813 or 1830 in Dundee, Scotland. (see research notes)

He had a daughter Catherine Ann Wilson (1852-) in 1851 with Isabella Hutton. She was christened on December 31, 1851 in Dundee, Scotland. ^[1] While there hasn't been a marriage record found, they likely were married prior to 1851.

There are two death records in this location on Scotland's People (https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk). One for a man who was 60 years old and the other who was 43 years old. His birth year would have been 1813 or 1830.

Marriage

• Unsuccessful searches have been done on Scotland's People, Ancestry and Familysearch for a marriage record for David Wilson and Isabella Hutton between the years of 1830 and 1853 (their daughter Catharine was born in 1851)

• It's possible they didn't marry, as Isabella married in 1856 and was still using the last name Hutton
