Biography

Alexander Wilson (40) is on the 1881 census with wife Sarah Ann (37) and their children; William (15), David (9), Rufus (7), Sandy (5), Christiann (3) and Emma (1).^[1]

William Wilson (77) passed on 30 Oct 1943 at Chester.^[2] His parents are listed as Alexander Wilson and Sarah Anne Rhodenizer. His wife Emma appears to have survived him and a son Ralph signed off.

The death, following a lengthy illness, occurred Saturday in the person of William Wilson, Chester, and native of Tancook Island. Some months ago he and Mrs. Wilson came to the mainland to reside with their daughter, Mrs. Ena Brimner, due to illness.^[3]

Surviving besides his wife are four daughters, Myrtle (Mrs. Amos Naus), Mary (Mrs. Ben Barkhouse), Jennie (Mrs. Stevens), and Mrs. Brimner, all of Chester' and six sons, Herman, Albert, Randolph, Alexander, Ralph, and Ernest, residing in Chester.

The funeral took place on Monday from the Baptist Church, Rev. J.D. Spidle, pastor, officiating.
