Roger was undoubtedly the brother of Richard of London who left his will on 30 Jun 1643 (WP 5 Dec 1646) mentioning "My loving brother Roger Williamson residing in Virginia the sum of twenty shillings of lawful English money and I do forgive him all the money he owes me"[1], a few after Roger and the Fosters had left for Virginia abt 1640.
Roger is said to have married Anne Foster on 5 Jun[citation needed]1646[2][3]just after immigration. The record only shows Roger and Ann married by 1646 but more likely abt 1635 in England when daughter Sarah is said born and sufficiently old in Norfolk Co 1648 to receive a gift from her Uncle.
They had at least three children in the four short years before he died:
Following Roger's death in 1650, Ann married second to John Carraway I (1619-1669) in Norfolk Co. 1650. She left a will in Norfolk Co 13 Jun 1689 (WP 15 Nov 1692)[6].
