Richard apparently had a brother, Bartholomew (bef 1650-25 Jul 1698[1]) who mentioned him in his 1698 Norfolk Co. Will[2]. Bartholomew and likely Richard appear to sons of Roger Williamson (1616-1650) and Ann (Foster) Williamson (1620-1692)[1]. His apparent father, Roger was undoubtedly the brother of Richard of London who left his will on 30 Jun 1643 (WP 5 Dec 1646) mentioning "My loving brother Roger Williamson residing in Virginia the sum of twenty shillings of lawful English money and I do forgive him all the money he owes me"[3].
He was apparently last seen in 1710 in a Norfolk deed as witness with his son, Bartholomew[4]. Both Bartholomew and presumed father, Richard were enumerated on VA Quit Rent Rolls 1704 in Princess Anne Co. for 400 and 450 acres, respectively[5] as well as presumed brother, John the same year for 750acres[6].
He left a will on 1 Sep 1721(WP 2 Oct 1723) in Norfolk Co. [7] mentioning his seven children all likely born between abt 1675 and 1695:
Bartholomew (d. 1749[9] [m. Martha Christopher [10] Will ]
George
Mary Berry [wife of Robert Berry]
Sarah Mathias [wife of Mathew Mathias]
Ann Whitehurst [wife of Hugh]
Eldest son Roger transferred 60 acres to brother John in 1740[11] and also to Anthony Walke[12] before he left a will on 4 Jan 1750 (WP) 19 Feb/1750[13].
