Biography
When Thomas was about 25 he married Margaret Alice Helena Woods, 15, on 7 July 1868 in Dacca, Bengal, India. Occupation is Telegraph dept. Groom father: Thomas Williams, bride father: Rodger Woods. A witness is A. W. Woods - Margaret's brother, most likely.[1]
On 25 December 1872 Thomas (age about 29) was employed in Comilla. Telegraph Master, Comilla.
Thomas, 33, Telegraph department, died of dysentery on 2 November 1876 and was buried on 3 Nov 1876 in Muttra, Bengal, India. Recorded in wife's probate (Kimberley, South Africa 1915). d 2 Nov 1876, age 33, Telegraph Dept, b 3 Nov 1876, Dysentery.[2]
