He was a Tailor at age 20, living in the Thompson home as a lodger in Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1871.^[2]

He married Anne Rosser (1841-1896) in 1876.^[1] Three of their known children.

He died on March 6, 1924, at the age of 74, in Wiston, Pembrokeshire, Wales,^[3] and was buried in the Wiston Calvanistic Methodist Burial Ground in Wiston.^[1]
