Rachel (Williams) Freeman is a part of US Black heritage.

Rachel V. Williams was born about 1840 in Vermont. She was the daughter of Harriet and Edward Williams,

Her husband was Civil War veteran Aaron Freeman of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. Her brother George married into a family of Underground Railroad operatives.

Education

In 1850, she is attending school, probably in or near Burlington, Vermont.[1]
