Richard married Anna Wilbore most likely in Taunton about 1716. This marriage date is estimated from the approximate birth date of their first child. After Richard's death, Anna married second to Jonathan Williams, son of Thomas and Mary (Macy) Williams, in Taunton before 1727.^[1]

History of daughter Anna: Martin was not certain who Anna married or what her fate was.^[1] The will of Richard's brother Ebenezer Williams and a subsequent deed concerning Ebenezer's former property proves she was the Anna that married William Cobb.^[10][11]
