Biography
Sir Hugh Williams, 5th Bt. was born in 1628. He was the son of Sir Griffith Williams, 1st Bt. and Gwen Bodwrda. He married Anne Vaughan, daughter of Henry Vaughan. He died on 22 March 1686.
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Williams, of Penrhyn, co. Caernarvon [E., 1661] on 29 December 1684. He lived at Marle, Conway, Caernarvonshire, Wales.
