Biography
OBITUARY: John L Williams, aged 69 years, of Durbin, died on Monday, September 8, 1952. He had been in failing health for some time from a heart affection. On Wednesday afternoon his body was laid in the Arbovale Cemetery. The service was held from the Durbin Methodist Church by his pastor, Rev. Chenoweth, assisted by his former pastor, Rev. Carlson, of Richwood. The deceased was a prominent citizen of Pocahontas County. He was a son of the late Roger Williams, of Bath County. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frona Flynn Williams, and their son, Hunter, of Louisiana.
