Biography

Alexander Williams Jr is a part of US Black heritage.

Alexander Williams, Jr. was born about April 11, 1890 (-1893) in Saratoga Springs, New York. He was the son of Alexander Williams and Jennie Grant. ^{[1] [2][3]}

Per his obituary, Alexander served in World War I as a Private with Company F in the 367th Infantry enlisting on April 28, 1918 with honorable discharge on March 10, 1919 including overseas service with the 5th Division.^{[2] [4][5]}

He married Ella Barber on June 7, 1921 in Saratoga, New York.^[6][7][8]

Alexander passed away at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, New York on November 16, 1942. He is buried at Greenridge Cemetery in Saratoga Springs. ^[2][9]
