Biography
In 1Q 1864 Edward was born in Marylebone [1]
On 19 February 1865 he was baptised at Holy Trinity Church, Paddington, London, the son of Thomas and Clara Williams. [2]
On 22 February 1885 Edward James Winthrop Williams, 21, a carman, and Emaline Eliza Maidlow, 22 were married in the Church of St Andrew and St Philip, Kensal Green, Kensington and Chelsea. His father Thomas Williams was a butler, and her father Arthur Charles Maidlow was a bricklayer.[3]
In the 1911 census of 3 Claremont Rd, Willesden, Edward James Williams (47) builder, born Middlesex, and Emerline Williams (45), laundry ironer, have been married 30 years and have 8 children. These include Frederick (14), Minnie (12), Alice Eliza (10) .[4]
