Biography

Nyra Williams was born in 1922 in Madison, Kentucky, United States, daughter of Valentine Williams (1894–1971) and Virginia Payne (1893–1979).

In 1930 and 1940, she lived with her parents in the Madison Co area of Kentucky.

About 1954, she married James Lawson. This relationship may have ended in July of 1960 by divorce.^[1]

In 1963, she had a surgery in Berea Hospital. She is listed as Nyra Williams.^[2]

In 1968, she was living with her parents when her younger sister died.

About 1971, she married Charles Hart. She was his second wife.

They remained married until the end of his life and she never remarried. He died in Oct 1979. Nyra died on 23 Nov 2000 in Tyner, Jackson, Kentucky, United States, aged 78.^{[3] [4]}
