Biography
Bruce V Williams was born on 9 May 1914 in Madison, Kentucky, United States, son of Valentine Williams (1894 - 1971) and Virginia (Payne) Williams (1893 - 1979).[1]
Bruce (26) married Ada Gilliam (26) (born in Kentucky on 15 Jun 1914), daughter of John Ancil Gilliam and Ada Gray, on 7 Nov 1940 in Pineville, Bell, Kentucky.
He worked as an automotive salesman.
Bruce died on 9 May 1959 in Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky aged 45 from a hernia and malignant hypertension.[2]

CORBIN June-Bruce V Williams. 45. died May 11 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington Former manager of the Greyhound Bus Depot in Corbin, he was a Mason, a member of the Corbin Lions Club and of the First Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife. Mrs. Ada Gilliam Williams; two sons. Robert and David Williams, and a daughter, Judith Williams, his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Tine Williams. Paint Lick; four sisters. Mrs. William Rowlett and Mrs. James Lawson. Berea; Mrs. William Fowler. Bakersfield. Calif., and Miss Virginia A. Williams. Paint Lick; a brother. Boyd Williams. Clarksville. Ind.
The funeral was conducted at First Christian Church. Corbin, by the Rev. William M. Hule and the Rev. J. Bill Jones. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.
