Biography

Karleen Ervin Williams was born on 10 August 1927 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas, United States.^[1] She was the daughter of Andrew Karl Williams and Grace Lee Grimes (1910 - 1999).^[2]

She was married to Randall Robert Childs in 1946. They divorced in 1972. They remarried in 1976.^[3][4][5]

She was the mother of three children.^[6]

She was a lab assistant for General Dynamics. She was of the Methodist faith.^[6]

Karleen Ervin (Williams) Childs was strangled to death on 23 May 1992 in her home in North Richland Hills, Tarrant County, Texas. She was 64 years old. Her estranged husband was accused of her murder but no news stories were located in archives online to determine whether he was tried and convicted.^[6][1][7][8] She was buried in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville, Tarrant County, Texas.^[9]
