Biography

James was born about 1870. He was the son of John Williams and Susan Barfield. James Henry Williams, buried at Bluewater Cemetery, Polk County, Texas, is documented by the 1910 United States Census for Precinct #4, Polk County, Texas. He is shown as living very near the households of John Stephen Dowden and Pink Edward Dowden; these two men were siblings of Francis "Fannie" Dowden Williams, the wife of James Henry Williams. He passed away in 1937.
