Thank you for being a generous informant of the Hill family, of which I'm researching as part of my family's genealogy. Kel
The Ambassadors project has been reorganizing and is looking for those who have a membership at a genealogical society, to help in spreading the word about WikiTree.
We're working on ways to improve how WikiTree connects and interacts with genealogical and local history societies. This is the kind of thing we want to do:
Are you interested in participating in some way? Do you have some ideas to share?

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Review the project pages to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. You can reach me using the reply link for this comment. I'm here to help!

I am not finding a Scottish Family [1] of Sands in any of the lists for clans, families, and septs. Could you please check with Scotland Project to get the right name. Please remove Sands Clan from your profile. (it created a red-linked category) Thanks, Natalie
