William Waller was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)
William was born in 1885. He was the son of Alfred Waller and Mary Simpson.

- Capt. W. A. Waller, son of Mr and Mrs A. Waller, of Kingsoote, has enlisted with the British Naval Forces in England. Previously Mr. Waller was in the merchant service and secured his captain's ticket last November He is the fourth son of Mr and Mrs Waller to enlist. Mr and Mrs H. Waller, of Red Banks, have received word that their son, Pte. A. Waller, has been dangerously wounded in the head.
