Hoi Ed,

Zie https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Unsourced

Hi Ed, profile Johanna Geertruida (van Laar) Bosman (-1941) has a biography about her daughter Julie Bosman? And Johanna Geertruida (van Laar) Bosman is a profile for the same person? Please check and merge/correct.

Hoi Ed, ik zie dat u nu de residenten van Semarang onderzoekt. Bent u nog van plan om daarna andere residenten te onderzoeken?

Groetjes Nick

Hi Ed

Can I use Rhemrev's picture https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Rhemrev-16 in an online article. Reference and source will be acknowledged

I found the picture on https://sgavermeer.blogspot.com/p/rhemrev.html, so that is where you should ask.

Hi Ed,

Thanks for creating Willem Gerrits Nienhuis (1697-bef.1749), Jan Willem Nienhuis (1737-1827), and Gerardus Jan Nienhuijs (1773-1807).

However, please understand that https://www.genealogieonline.nl is not a source, it is a tree that sometimes has interesting leads in it and should not be relied upon as the sole source of a profile. Instead, please look to that tree to lead you in finding sources and adding them to these profiles.

Let me know if you have any questions or need help with this.

Thanks.

Hello William. Of course I know that https://www.genealogieonline.nl is not a source, but you are too soon with your comment, because I like to work from "from rough to detail" and will now use - among others - 'RootsSearch'. Do you know about that option? It gives you the possibility within Wikitree to conveniently search 20+ genealogy websites. So rest assured: if there are better sources I will add them :-)

Great, thanks! Yes, I love RootsSearch very powerful tool.

Ed,

Thank you for your in-depth research of the Beck Family in Colonial America. Your contributions to the family history have been invaluable. Thank YOU!!! Your distant cousin, Rebecca

Ed, making more than one thousand contributions in September added so much to the breadth and depth of our Shared Tree. The Appreciation Team thanks YOU!

I have no idea why anyone would want to "match" the watchlist with a user tree on Familysearch. One should find primary sources in Dutch archives and archive websites instead. Usually quite easy.

Wanna have some fun ? It's almost time for the Source-a-Thon 2019 (Friday 4 October-Monday 7 October) and we would love to see you ! make sure to first register (with an answer!), and let them know you join the Flying Dutchmen - Vliegende Hollanders and of course feel free to add your name to the team here (click link) (don't forget to remember and add your number (for the prizedrawings) there as well). ;)

Hope to see you and have a great day,

Hey Ed! Do you know the Poznanski Family? I see that you updated Joseph Posnanski, Can we chat? I would love to tell you more about them!

Hello Shannon. I think you refer to Joseph Poznanski (1841 - 1916). I'm not family, so I would appreciate you add your knowledge about them to the Wikitree. Ed

Hoi Ed,

Sir, I was wondering how you know about Emma Augusta Blackman and if you know anything more about Alexander Fraser. I am researching on the painter Raden Saleh and it is pointing towards them. Thank you
