Blandina Van Pelt was born in 1701, a daughter of Pieter Jansen Van Pelt and Saartje Bogardus. Blandina was baptized 8 June 1701 in the Dutch Reformed Church, Staten Island, New York, witnesses were Everardus Bogardus (her uncle) and Blandina Bogardus (her aunt).[1][2]
