Aeltje Janse van Couwenhoven was born before 28 Apr 1678 in Brooklyn, Kings County, Long Island, Province of New York, daughter of Jan Gerretse Van Couwenhoven (~1639–~1724) and Gerdientje de Sille (1642–>1681).
