Leonard H Lapham married Ruth I(transcribed 'Q' but matches the 'I' in Isabelle in the image) Tyrell 18 Apr 1922 in Essex, New York. He was 21, born in Peru New York, the son of Oliver Lapham & Phebee Leonard. Ruth was 19, born in Whallonsburg New York, the daughter of Leslie Tyrell & Minnie Gladd. He was a Telephone Repairman she a Telephone Operator so they probably met at work.^[1]

Ruth I. Tyrrell Lapham was born in 1902 and died 6 Jan 1960 (aged 57–58). She was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, Rensselaer County, New York

"Mrs Leonard Lapham, the former Ruth I. Tyrrell, of 120th street, died at the residence yesterday after a long illness. Mrs. Lapham, a native of Westport, had lived in Troy for 15 years and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Lansingburg. Survivors besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. June Fowler of Troy; four sons, Leonard S., Russell D., Richard T. and Dennis B. Lapham, all of Troy; a sister, Mrs. Walter Dame of Plattsburgh, and five grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th street and 3rd avenue. Rev. Robert L. Seekins Jr., rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery."
