I'm looking forward to hearing from you. You can click the reply button or message me with your answer. Thank you. Pam Kreutzer, Leader of the US Civil War Project
Yes I am still active - just in a one-at-a time fashion rather than the group challenge way. I am the administrator of the Lapham Name Study and most of my focus is on Lapham files, actually to the detriment of my own family tree sometimes. So most of my Civil War Project additions are Laphams, the most recent being Lapham-859 Milton David Lapham of the Minnesota "Mounted Rangers" just yesterday. I was interested in the Andersonville challenge some months back but I had already added the two Laphams that I know of who died there.
In the back of my mind, some day when I have everything else caught up & under control (how likely is that?) I would really like to go through the NPS Soldiers & Sailors database and add all the Laphams listed. It's probably a pipe dream but I may just start by doing a few at a time.
Thanks for asking, and thank you for your work on the project.
Stay well, Jennifer
Yes, it is interesting how we are both related to Margaret (Robinson) Lapham 1787-1858 but you are related to her on your father's side and to me on your mother's side. I'm related to both of you through my paternal grandmother whose father was a Prichard and mother was a Bartlett. I'm related to Margaret Robinson Lapham through the Bartlett side and to you, through the Prichard side so the same idea but a generation earlier. Could be because I'm related to Margaret through both her parents, the Robinson side (strongly) and the Kingman side (less strongly). Yes, it's a jigsaw puzzle of pieces to assemble. Thank you for contacting me. I enjoyed your comment on my profile page. Cheers and happy hunting, Pat Miller

I Hope you'll join the fun.
I think I found her as an "orphan" and I thank you for your update I don't have any more information at this time.
I think Samuel & Mary are the parents of Mary (Bonney) Lapham (1778-1815). There is a birth record for a Molle Bonney daughter of Samuel & Mary Bonney born 20 Sep 1778 in the NEHGS "Vital Records Pembroke Massachusetts." and no other Mary/Molly/Polly Boney/Bonney born there c 1778. Do you have anything that would confirm or deny it? Stay well, Jennifer
When your editing a profile you will see: Edit Text under it you'll see boxes to click: the box that looks like stairs is the box for categories, when you click it, another box will appear, that's the "category picking tool" you would put in 38th Massachusetts and the correct category would appear which was: "38th Regiment, Massachusetts Infantry, United States Civil War" you pick this and it will appear on the top above the Biography heading. On the Sticker you would type: unit= 38th Regiment, Massachusetts Infantry (do not type United States Civil War) In order for the soldier to be listed in his proper unit the category needs to be correct. On the very bottom of profile pages you'll see a category box, if a category comes up red you know you have the incorrect category listed.

I hope this helps, I'm always glad to help. Pam
I’m from Long Island, New York. The reason I saw your name was because I was looking for John Terry of Southold. I got a photo from a present day Terry on Facebook. Matthew Terry posted it. He is the nephew of Clifford Terry who still lives in the Terry homestead in Terryville. Cliff Terry is an old friend.
Thanks for taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. This is a courtesy email to share the After Adopting Orphans FAQ which explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
If you will be working with any profiles needing GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.
Let me know if you have any questions,
Debi
But I'll try doing it again. :)

I pulled that from Family search, and it does not include a link to the claimed census. I am also making a memo to go back and check everything, and not just blindly import. some times I get busy and dont do that. I am more focused on my Jenks relatives, Thank you for adding this profile tho to your study .
Thanks, Jim
All the best,
Gillian
Thanks for doing this! I was working on trying to connect Holdridge-83 to the tree, and was working up his wife's ancestors. No luck yet, but it's all good for adding to the larger tree.
