Biography

Arthur was born in 1852. [1] He was the son of Arthur Belzoni Turrell and Henriette Harriet Emily Caulfield. He was baptised on 16 July 1852 in Southwark.[2]

He received a land grant in New South Wales on 21 July 1887.[3]

On 12 January 1889, Arthur was picked up by police for being of unsound mind. He was held at Bathurst gaol until 19th January and passed on to other authorities on 21 January.

He died on the 25th of December, 1889,[4][5] and was buried in the Gladesville Asylum Cemetery.[6]
