Hannah was named in her father’s Will written 8 Jan 1688/9.[2]
In 1697 or 1698, they moved from Haverhill to Stonington, Connecticut. In May of 1715, her husband John petitioned the General Council to determine where he lived. His farm was near the dividing line between Stonington and Groton, Connecticut, and both towns claimed the right to tax him. The result was that his domicile was fixed in Stonington. [10] In 1722 some records show them living in Groton, Connecticut.
John’s will was dated 4 Sept 1729. It names his wife, Hannah and five of his children: Hannah, David, Esther, Jerusha, and John.[5] (others are recorded in the town and church records as noted above.) [10]
