Biography

Stuart was born about 1963. He is an English Christian worship leader and writer of hymns and contemporary worship music. He is the son of John Townend, vicar of Christ Church, Sowerby Bridge from 1974 until his death in a motor accident in 1985.

Stuart met his wife Caroline Bull at the University of Sussex. They got engaged on October 19, 1987 and they married in 1988.[1]
