Biography
Françoise was born in 1770. She is actually born and baptized Marie Isabelle Touzain on 9 September 1770 in Deschambault (St-Joseph), but goes by her mother's name of Françoise in adult life.[1] (surprisingly, there is no girl baptized Françoise in the family[2])
At age 22 per the record, Françoise married Michel Gosselin on January 9th 1792, in Dechambault, (St-Joseph).[3]
Françoise Touzin, widow of Michel Gosselin, remarried on 16 November 1813 in Deschambault with François Arcand, widower of Josephte Cloutier.[4]
Françoise Touzin, widow of François Arcand, died on 19 November 1839 and was buried on the 21st in Deschambault, the record giving her 72 years of age.[5]
