Biography

Samuel is the son of John and Mary (Roberts) Thrall.^[1]

He married Lucy Winchell, daughter of Martin Winchell and Lucy. Their children were born in Windsor, Hartford, CT; they moved to Granville, MA before the Revolution and reared the family there. They removed to Rutland, Vermont before 1790.

Captain Samuel Thrall served with Hampshire County, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Samuel Thrall is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A114993.

Samuel served in the American Revolution as a Captain in Col Timothy Robinson Robinson-14483 - Hampshire County MA, and Colonel Marinus Willet(t)'s Regiment - 1st New York Regiment, Continental Army. He was also Quartermaster as per his DAR record. ^{[2] [3]}
