Biography

Henry Ernest Thornell was born on 20 August 1880 in Clyde, Victoria, Australia, son of Ellen (Robbins) Thornell and George Thornell.^{[citation needed]}

He married Annie Helen Ellen Meldrum on 1 January 1907 in Melbourne, Victoria.^[1] Their children were:^[2]

• Myrtle Thornell (1907–1976)
• Vivian Barry Thornell (1910–?)^[3]
• Kenneth Thornell

Annie died in June 1955.^[2]

Henry died in May 1974 in Longwarry, Victoria, aged 93 years.^[4]
