There is an Edward Thorley in London in 1638,[1]probably the same man who migrated to Anne Arundel, Maryland.

Edward Thorley, will written 11 dec 1678, was in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. legacies to wife Mary, two daughters unnamed, sons John, Edward, Samuel. (I have image of handwritten original from will book, can upload if wanted). The website referenced here appears to be unsourced - I checked several of the citations for Thorley with no results. Beware of family lore. If the date and family are a coincidence, then please document somehow.
