In 1870 John Thomas (48, b. Wales, farmer) headed a Fox Twp., IL (Kendall County) household with Sarah J. Thomas (37, b. NY), Luellen Thomas (male, 18, b. IL, works on farm), Mary E. Thomas (10, b. IL), and Julia Nelson (18, b. Norway, dom. servant).

In 1880 an L. Thomas (28, b. IL, farmer, father b. Wales, mother b. NY) headed a Fox, IL (Kendall County) household with wife Minnie Thomas (20, b.
