Margaret was born about 1869, based on information in her find a grave memorial, which is consistent with the 1901 census.

She passed away in 1944. Margaret Thomas was mentioned on a memorial in Hatley Memorial Gardens, Colwood, Capital Regional District, British Columbia, Canada with a death date of 15 December 1944. The memorial included the following: "British Columbia Registration of Death 1944-09-653777 Woodford, Margaret Born: Abt. 1869, England Daughter of Roger Thomas & Margaret Brown Widow of Walter Henry Woodford Died: 15 Dec 1944, Victoria, B.C."[1]
