Geneviève Thomas dit Tranchemontagne was born about 1804, daughter of Francois Thomas dit Tranchemontagne and Charlotte Forcier.
Her birth location is based on her sister's Louise birth location. It seems that the parents moved from St-Cuthbert to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue after her sister Marguerite was born (in 1800).
The name of the parents are on her mariage register.
She married Francois Dubreuil on August 29, 1825 at Sainte-Madeleine-de-Rigaud, Bas-Canada. [1]

She is interchangably identified as Marie, Marie Louise, and Genevieve in the birth records of her children with Francois Dubreuil.
