Vincent Theriaux was born and baptized on 27 Apr 1774 in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish of Rivière-Ouelle, Province of Québec. His parents were Jean Theriault and Josette Bérubé.[1]

Vincent Teriaux married Euphrosine Duchêne, daughter of Jean Baptiste Duchêne and Marie Gravelle, on 7 Oct 1805 in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish of Rivière-Ouelle.[2]
