I was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada. I have 2 brothers. I serve time in the Canadian Armed Forces for 5 years as a Military Police. Then I joined the Dalhousie Police Force located in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, Canada. In 1988 I was employed with the Moncton Police Force. In 1998 January 18, the Moncton Police Force was absorbed by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I have retired from the RCMP in 2007.

I am married with Denise Robichaud. I have two sons from a previous marriage , Alex and Marc Arsenault.

For hobby I do research on my own family tree and from request for other people who wants to find out about their ancestors etc...
